Cook’s have continued to develop our revolutionary service body design with our new Aluminiuum body. Boasting larger lockers, improved security, a low profile design matching into your vehicles cab for carpark clearance and significant weight savings achieved increasing payload availability, delivering fuel savings and reducing ware on your vehicle.
Cook’s Service Bodies maximise available storage space through their integration of saddle lockers extending down below floor level. These lockers also provide improved efficiency through single door access and the possibility of vertical storage. While the bodies full integration lockers strengthening and base lead to a slick light weight finish without compromising strength. With Cook’s flexible body mounting, our adjustable tracks, a shelf in each locker, ventilation, LED tail lights, wheel valances and tie downs incorporated as standard you get more body for less.
- Standard Service Body: This body is our entry level service body and is popular with tradesman who do not require a specific set up or to form a base for your own custom set-up.
- The Plumber Service Body: The Plumber Service Body is equipped with roof racks, a weather resistant central underbody tray and vented oxy acetylene storage this body provides a base for a plumber or other trade to work out of

TRADE PRO™
A Lightweight mobile safe, structurally engineered for your tools and equipment.
The Cook’s TRADE PRO™ body is a lightweight mobile safe structurally engineered for your tools and equipment. The TRADE PRO™ body is constructed of an Aluminium monocoque shell over a gal. steel base delivering a low tare weight but with superior rigidity and strength. With high quality locks, three lift-up gas strut assisted doors sit flush with your body providing a smooth finish uninterrupted and consistent with your vehicle and complete access to the rear of your body. While a flush aluminium floor allows for easy loading and unloading of the body and avoids dirt build up in the body.
A Cook’s TRADE PRO™ comes with more, including a recessed tail light panel, high mounted brake and indicator lights as standard. While our heavy duty white Powder Coat finish as standard provides a durable chip resistant finish. This provides a blank canvas for you to install your advertising on the outside and our myriad of options and accessories allow you to best get your tools and equipment to site and efficiently use them onside.

ORIGINAL SERVICE BODY
After Decades of production the Original Cook’s Steel Service Body has been discontinued, making way for our Aluminium Service Body. This doesn’t mean that you won’t see them out and about and Cook’s continue to offer a wide range of spare parts and repair services to ensure that existing bodies can stay on the road.

A Cook’s tray is manufactured as a workhorse whether it is carting dirt or specialised equipment a Cook’s tray gets the job done. Cook’s manufacture quality Aluminium and Steel trays from your standard plank to your fully fabricated specialised tray or tipper unit. Our trays are Australian designed and built to your specifications and to exceed the performance of your vehicle.
Our trays are can be manufactured as either; a tipper unit compliant with the latest regulatory requirements, a specialised tray built around your needs, a high end fully customised tray to suit your specialised vehicle, or a heavy-duty workhorse with a strong base and no nonsense accessories to get the job done.
- Manufactured in Australia: Cook’s manufacture our trays from scratch here in Australia at our Melbourne factory.
- Heavy duty: Cook’s design our trays to carry more than your vehicles limits, for example we utilise a 2 tonne plank for our ute trays and 4 tonne for our light truck trays, twice that of a factory tray.

Cook’s Lockers
Cook’s lockers are built to do more! Our lockers are manufactured out of Aluminium and utilising our experience with monocoque manufacture come rigid and strong to carry your equipment over any surface. Generally, our lockers include our adjustable tracks and come powder coated with a whale tail lock.

- Underbody lockers: Storage under your tray can assist with getting everything to site, as well as storing heavy items at a usable height.
- Custom lockers: Cook’s have manufactured a wide variety of custom sized lockers or can make a fully customised locker to your dimensions and/or specifications.
- Saddle Lockers: Saddle lockers are specialised lockers that extend down past the chassis floor. This maximises your storage space, allows for efficient storage of long items, and ensure items are stored at an ergonomic height from the ground.
- Raised lockers: raising lockers can provide for great storage at floor level of wheeled or oversized items as well as allowing items to be stored at an ergonomic level for tray access.
- Top-opening lockers: A top opening locker is ideal for bulky items that can move in transport as items can’t move against the door and make opening dangerous.

Custom Built Utility BodieS
Cook’s are adept at building our customer needs and can develop a fully custom body to meet your needs. Cook’s have developed a reputation as a specialised body builder through our ability to develop and then build a custom body that meets specifications, solves problems and lasts. When ordering a fully custom body it is important to remember that the cost of the body will be greater due to greater engineering time to develop the build is only amortised over the one build. Custom builds also take longer as designs are developed reviewed and tested with items worked out and problems solved so the end product is the best it can be.

Underbody Toolboxes
Cook’s have either angled or square underbody lockers to suit your ute.
LOW PROFILE DRAWS
Our Gal. low profile drawers can be adjustable or form a tool chest. Designed to suit our Ali Service Body and standard lockers are 405mm deep and 95mm high. If this doesn’t work we can make them to suit your preferred size.
DRAW UNIT / STACK
Our aluminium drawers can be formed together to make a drawer unit (single layer) or stack (multi-layer) with a false floor on top to maximise storage.
DROPSIDES
Providing a method to secure your load that can be quickly opened and closed to enclose your load.
STANDARD LOCKERS
Cooks have standard 1300, 900 and 600mm wide lockers by 540mm deep either 840mm or 1,000mm high.

BEACON LIGHTING

Make sure you don’t drive off with your doors open, a door open alarm can be wired off ignition or when the handbrake is released.
REVERSE SENSORS

Weather Resistant Central Underbody Tray (Shovel Tray)
In either a short 1500mm opening or 1860mm opening this central underbody tray sits between your body runners and is enclosed to stop dust, dirt and water entering the tray.
ALUMINIUM DRAWERS
Our Aluminium drawers are light weight but strong and can store a large variety of tools and parts. Coming in a combination of 440mm and 220 mm wide, 150mm and 200mm high and either 700mm or 1450mm deep or a size that best suits your needs.
SHELVES
Cook’s have shelves of all sizes to meet your needs. Designed to be adjustable and strong our shelves can be combined with storage tubs, or have backing sheets/mesh installed to meet your needs.

Fire Extinguishers
Installation of a fire extinguisher in the cab, underbody or internally can be for more than a compliance item but a useful health and safety tool.
